Take control of GitHub Copilot in VS Code with Custom Extensions

GitHub Copilot has transformed developer productivity unlike any developer tool in history. While it knows a lot about code, it doesn’t always know enough about your environment - your business needs, your data - to be as helpful as it could. But you can fix this! In this session, we’ll look at how to build a custom extension in VS Code so that you can control the prompts, pass relevant information and tie into virtually every part of the editor. This session will show you how to take complete control of GitHub Copilot to get it to do just about anything.

Burke Holland is a front-end developer in Nashville, TN, working on the Azure team at Microsoft. Burke blogs only slightly better than he codes but not as good as he talks about himself in the 3rd person.
